Vol 1 No 1 (2016): Southeast Asian Journal of Science and Technology
Southeast Asian Journal of Science and Technology

This is the Volume 1 of the Southeast Asian Journal of Science and Technology, featuring a diverse collection of studies that span education, social sciences, health, agriculture, technology, and community development. The published works include research on college students’ resilience to posttraumatic stress, Alternative Learning System graduates’ experiences in higher education, teenage pregnancy prevention, and the roles and perceptions of young mothers. Other studies explore food innovation such as papaya leaf tea and water chestnut flour products, along with community-based assessments like fishing policy impacts in the Lingayen–Binmaley–Dagupan river systems. Educational and technological contributions are also highlighted through works on instructional modules in science and Rizal studies, linguistic intelligence, algebra performance, teaching strategies, and ICT systems such as teacher-student portals and mobile learning tools. Overall, this volume reflects a strong focus on applied research that addresses local issues while promoting innovation, education improvement, and community-centered solutions in the Philippine context.
